Website Upgrade for Dawn Driving Tuition

Six years ago, in 2011, we hand-coded a nice little website for a female driving instructor in Kent. Dawn decided to  stop working for a large driving school and set herself up as an independent instructor. With an impressive pass rate to shout about, she ordered a car and asked The BPc to design a unique and memorable logo for the livery.

The optimised website was launched then we set up social media and other links to increase the website's chance of a good position for selected search terms. It worked well and Dawn has never looked back.

We advised Dawn a while back that the site may begin to slip down the charts due to preferred new technology, particularly 'mobile friendly' guidelines from Google. We also suggested that if she had a WordPress CMS website rather than bespoke code, she could manage her own updates (e.g. prices) with some brief training, without having to pay HTML programmers!

Take a look at the new website and let us know what you think.

Why Did Dawn (in Kent) choose The BPc (from Hertfordshire)?

It was a chain of events that began in Hertfordshire. Years ago, we did some graphic design work for a company based in Cheshunt, Herts. The contact moved on, worked in London, recommended The BPc to a contractor who was looking for a website designer, who subsequently recommended us to another contractor who lives in Kent and we designed that website too. This led to a referral for Dawn's original website, described above.

Dawn then recommended our services to Jim Germaney, another Kent-based driving instructor whose website was not performing. We designed a WordPress CMS (updateable by client) website which was completed a few months ago. Dawn was so impressed with its functionality that she asked us to upgrade her site, keeping the same look and feel as the original website. Whew! Where will we go next? :)
