Working over the Holidays?

Snow time to stop!
Some companies close down for two weeks over Christmas and New Year but SAE Logistics closes for just one day - Christmas Day - and that follows a generally hectic pre-Christmas period on behalf of their Order Fulfilment customers.

On Boxing Day last year, SAE's MD took a call from a customer asking for an express Pick and Pack project to start at 7am the next morning and complete before New Years Eve.

This turned Boxing Day into boxing week for some dedicated SAE staff! SAE Logistics offers a complete storage and distribution service all year round. They also provide same-day, next-day plus haulage.

Architecture Design Extension, Open View

Key to this project by Brunskill Design Architects was to gain much needed kitchen and sitting room space. There was a preference to maximise views out at the back of the house, across a small valley, from as many areas as possible within the house. The interior layout is opened out in the design. It involves a spilt level as the property is on a slope and this gives great views out. The fact that this was a locally listed building restricted the design possibilities; however an attractive suitable design solution was found to increase useful area and retain original features.

SunSeeker Doors manufactures, supplies and installs aluminium framed Bi Folding Doors and double-glazed Frameless Patio Doors.

And, on the subject of extensions and new kitchens, PNI Property Services created a stunning kitchen in Hampton, London. The company specialises in bespoke fittings to the clients' individual requirements.

Since launching their heat-care plan to cover boiler repairs, demand has led to gas-elec re-jigging their offering to include the required gas boiler service in the plan price. This means that for a boiler service and breakdown cover for a year, the price is a competitive £140.

Additionally, gas-elec launched a number of similar plans for landlords who may have more than one property or legal obligations concerning gas and electrical safety.

Save Energy, Save Money. Boiler Service & Breakdown Cover

Gus from gas-elec
Recently Launched: Heat-Care Plan from Gas-Elec.
Boiler Breakdown Cover for £60 pa is incredibly good value compared with most of the plans available. Call any time day or night and a gas-elec engineer will be scheduled to fix your boiler as soon as possible - no call out fees and all parts and labour are included.

There are conditions, of course, such as regular boiler servicing (which gas-elec will arrange for you) but these are listed on their web site.

Discover some other reasons why checking out the Gas-Elec group may be worth a few minutes of your time ...

Home-owners:
Gas and Electrical Safety Inspections,
Boiler service, maintenance, replacement,
Boiler economiser to reduce heating bills.

According to Good Housekeeping Magazine:
"The g-save is a small device that wires into your central heating to optimise the amount of fuel the boiler uses. Often there's a time lag between the thermostat signalling the need for heat and the system registering the temperature has been reached, resulting in overheating and wasted energy. The manufacturer claims it can reduce running costs by 17% to 31% ... We monitored the gas consumption of a four-bedroom house for two weeks, with and without the g-save. Gas consumption was 31% lower in the g-save week, which would work out at a saving of £165 over a year if it was maintained."

Landlords:
Gas and Electrical Safety Inspections.

Businesses & commercial properties:

New Website launch: SunSeeker Trade Bifolds

We have just completed a new website for our client, SunSeeker Doors, UK manufacturer of bi folding and frameless glass doors.

The new service Trade Bifolds, launched today, is for professional builders.

SunSeeker Doors sells direct to home-owners via www.sunseekerdoors.co.uk. Its aluminium bifolding doors, frameless 'glass curtain' room divider and latest innovation, double glazed frameless glass patio doors, are priced to include pre-manufacturing survey and full installation by SunSeeker Doors' experienced teams.

However, the aluminium bi folding doors have stood the test of time since 2003, therefore the SunSeeker Doors management felt that it was a practical move forward to enable professional tradesmen to submit their required specifications and install the made-to-order door sets for their own customers, should they so wish.

The BPc also designed the new logo for SunSeeker Trade Bifolds.

The re-launch of Sherwood Equestrian on-line shop
