Website Refreshed for Facilities Management Company

A year ago, we posted details of a client whose cleaning business had expanded into property services and here we are again, with an update.

Millers Property Services (Welwyn GC) has successfully expanded and evolved to become MPS Facilities Management, with an impressive client list that includes Tesco and St John's Ambulance.

The website content was updated to reflect the expanded services offered by the company, including new photographs to illustrate some of the tasks they manage: gas, electrics, plumbing, painting, gardening, etc..

We also designed a new company logo. The quaint green house image (not one of ours) has been replaced by a simple but descriptive, no-nonsense, business-style "This is us and this is what we do" logo.

The website was developed in WordPress and general content is updated in-house, as are their social media activities. This client is an excellent example of how a company can manage their own online presence and utilise a third party (The BPc) as required.

Utility Services Company Website

Following on from the website we created for Roseground Ltd, a construction company in Luton, Bedfordshire, we were asked to create a similar website for NDC Utility Services.

NDC supplied an image of a logo's vehicle but had very few useable images - muddy trenches are not the most inspiring photographic topics - but eventually, we sourced a few to enhance the website pages.

The company is an Independent Connection Provider (ICP) which emerged as a direct result of the Government opening up competition for connections provisions when the electricity industry was privatised. NDC is able to design, lay and connect cabling systems for a number of industries, from street-lighting and residential homes to connecting large-scale commercial buildings nd retail parks. Health and Safety compliance is at the centre of all projects undertaken by NDC.

The website was created within a few days and would benefit from some future seo as the company increases its foothold in this relatively young industry sector.

Please contact The BPc if you would like us to quote for your professional CMS (WordPress) website.

Living the Dream: Designer Villas website

Creating a website for spacious, contemporary homes in the sun was a welcome break from the dull weather outside the window. Designer villas in the Mediterranean, featuring an abundance of glass for natural light and peaceful views, fully functional minimalist living / kitchen design and contemporary style bathrooms is a dream for many.

The client is aiming to hear from potential buyers who want to follow that dream. The villas are reasonably priced, costing far less than most cheap housing in popular areas of the UK. The villas are bult to order in Denia on the Costa Blanca, between Valencia and Alicante, where there are a few British ex-pats already enjoying the milder autumn/winter climate.

Ideal for full time living or an investment opportunity - a luxury villa can be rented out as a short term holiday let for a good return ... perhaps until the owners are ready to 'retire' to live in the sun. There is currently a choice of 4 pre-approved plans for three and four bedroom properties, all covered by a 10 year guarantee. The established building company, which has an enviable reputation in the area, has a number of plots (approx 800m2) available in a nice residential area.

We're looking forward to researching information to add to the site over the coming months, and to writing a few interesting and informative 'lifestyle' blog posts.

Website for Established Construction Services Company

Roseground Ltd. in Luton is a national construction company, experienced in commercial and industrial projects; they have been very successful despite having no website or online presence.

Recently, however, they have received an increasing number of requests for a link to their website, therefore the decision was taken to go ahead. The BPc was recommended to them by another of our clients and we were invited to meet with Roseground's MD and submit a quotation.

The website has been launched with a few pages giving basic information and is designed to accommodate growth. It was developed in WordPress CMS which enables the clients to manage the content themselves, following a short training session. They will be able to add more photographs, more pages and news items as required. The website has also passed Google's 'mobile friendly' test.

Some of Roseground's projects include: industrial cleanrooms, office construction and refurbishments, secure areas and a housing development in partnership with Sundon Homes.

Fresh New Website for Hertfordshire Catering Co (Watford)

Hanson Catering celebrated their 30th anniversary with a brand new website from The BPc. It has a clean, fresh look with an image-based menus-menu.

Based on a WordPress theme, the website is easy for clients to update content in-house with (usually) less than an hour's training. Or, if our clients prefer to spend their time on their core business, The BPc can action updates quickly and cost-effectively.

Hanson's are successful caterers with an enviable reputation. They will cater for small parties and business buffets to large banquets with hundreds of guests.

If you wander over to their catering website, you will see their many testimonials from satisfied customers, photographs of their key members of staff, monthly news updates and, importantly, a selection of menus with prices and options. There is also a map showing the approximate geographical area where they can provide services, mainly London (North-West), Bucks & Hertfordshire plus East London and parts of Berkshire.

SunSeeker Doors' new website: fast, mobile-friendly, easy to use

At The BPc, we have been designing websites for clients since the last century! There have been many changes in that time, as internet use expanded from universities and businesses to people shopping from their own homes and engaging in social media.

Bi Folding Doors / Sliding / Pivot

This is the third website we have developed for UK Bi Folding Doors manufacturer, SunSeeker Doors spanning nine years, with each new website offering significant improvements over its predecessor.

There are two major factors that determine how websites are built now: providing a discerning public with the information they demand and the dominance of the Google search engine.

SunSeeker Doors' latest website is based on the WordPress Content Management System (CMS) which means that clients are able to add/edit/delete content within their websites with basic training notes - no specialist knowledge needed. Some of our clients continue to use The BPc to update content for them, for a variety of reasons: they may be too busy or they trust to our experience, which makes updates quicker and, therefore, ultimately affordable.

As a result of various Google tests, we also know that the website is mobile friendly and compares favourably in speed tests.

Here are some of the features you will see when viewing www.sunseekerdoors.co.uk:
  • Large images enables detailed views;
  • Easy to use photo gallery of installations;
  • Video demos - how doors open and close;
  • Mobile-friendly Quotation Request form;
  • Service Request form for existing clients;
  • Testimonials;
  • On non-mobile devices, when you hover over the types of doors listed in the top menu and images are displayed so that you can choose the style of door you want information on.
We also write about case studies and create articles relating to home improvement which we post on their website blog pages approximately once a month.
