A Village, proud to be Ugley

Some years ago, The BPc created a website for Ugley Village Hall. There are reference pages regarding T&Cs and relevant documents, hire prices, an inventory of items available, public classes to join (yoga, scouts, etc.), a history of the hall, a photo archive, details of the defibrillator plus a calendar of forthcoming events.

Every now and then, we are asked to update the information. Recently, this has included dates for the very popular Farmers Market, held each month.

Ugley Village is in Essex, just across the border from Hertfordshire and within easy reach of Stansted Airport, London and Cambridge. If you're nearby, check the dates and call in.

Brand New Novel Released This Week.

The time travel adventures of Gray Henderson continue in Ian Cummins' latest book, "OneMore Time" which was published this week, available from Amazon in paperback or ebook, including a Kindle Unlimited version.

Graham's previous venture hasn't worked out as he had hoped so, rather than sit and mope, he decides to take matters into his own hands and go back into his past life with two goals: to help people where he can and to find true love for himself.

Yes, it sounds like an amalgam of a feel-good Hollywood movie and a Disney princess story but it's told with typical British stoicism, as expected from this author. What challenges will Gray encounter and are his goals achievable? There's only one way to find out, as the saying goes...

Here is a review of this novel, left online this month:

I really enjoyed "My Time Again: A Time Travel Novel.
It was well written and suspenseful! An imaginative and
fascinating read. I couldn't put it down.
I'm looking forward to reading the follow up novel and
other books by Mr Ian Cummins.

A brief synopsis:
Ian is a British author who turned his hand to writing during 'lockdown' and has since completed
five novels. The time-traveller stories feature a 69-year-old widower who woke up on his 70th
birthday to discover that he had been transported back to 1970, into his 18-year-old body, with
his years of experience and memories intact. My Time Again recounts a different path to his
70th birthday, the second time around.
