Brand New Novel Released This Week.

The time travel adventures of Gray Henderson continue in Ian Cummins' latest book, "OneMore Time" which was published this week, available from Amazon in paperback or ebook, including a Kindle Unlimited version.

Graham's previous venture hasn't worked out as he had hoped so, rather than sit and mope, he decides to take matters into his own hands and go back into his past life with two goals: to help people where he can and to find true love for himself.

Yes, it sounds like an amalgam of a feel-good Hollywood movie and a Disney princess story but it's told with typical British stoicism, as expected from this author. What challenges will Gray encounter and are his goals achievable? There's only one way to find out, as the saying goes...

Popular time travel novel now available in audio

My Time Again - a time travel novel by Ian Cummins, our client - has been available in paperback and e-book format for some time. It has a ratings average of 4 stars from 1200+ readers and has sold well over 5000 copies across all media.

Breaking News... My TimeAgain is now
available as an audiobook
 from Amazon.com
(not .co.uk just yet, not sure why).

Here is a review of this novel, left online this month:

Reviewed in the United States on March 9, 2025

I really enjoyed "My Time Again: A Time Travel Novel.
It was well written and suspenseful! An imaginative and
fascinating read. I couldn't put it down.
I'm looking forward to reading the follow up novel and
other books by Mr Ian Cummins.

A brief synopsis:
Ian is a British author who turned his hand to writing during 'lockdown' and has since completed
five novels. The time-traveller stories feature a 69-year-old widower who woke up on his 70th
birthday to discover that he had been transported back to 1970, into his 18-year-old body, with
his years of experience and memories intact. My Time Again recounts a different path to his
70th birthday, the second time around.

Twins: The Lone Twin

Our client is raising support for The Twins Trust.

His daughter was expecting identical twin girls but one was stillborn. This post linked to (above) leads to the grandfather's perspective which, in turn, leads to his daughter's story. Ten years on, the pain of loss is still evident but the joys brought by 'the lone twin' are many.

The family will embark upon a fund-raising event to raise money for the trust, which supports many families. The Thames Path challenge covers 100k from Putney Bridge, along the towpath towards Henley. Our 'older' client has opted for the quarter challenge (approx. 28k) which is still an excellent achievement.

Ian Cummins is an author of five books. The sequel to his best seller was released last month.

And Again?

Here it is, the sequel to the best selling time travelling novel by Ian Cummins has now been published.

My Time Again recounted the story of Graham who was transported back fifty-two years to his 18th birthday. He decides to make different choices in his second chance at life.

And Again? is Graham's second time travel adventure, going back only a few years on a mission for the time travel inventor, as it seems that not everyone is able to 'jump' or 'leap' into a parallel universe.

Both books are available from Amazon - paperback and e-book versions, including Kindle Unlimited -  and 50% of all proceeds are donated by the author to homeless charities.

An Author's New Book Project

One of our clients is a self-published author of four books. His most popular novel has sold into the 1000s and elicited a number of requests for a sequel. He has duly obliged and has now completed the first draft, which we have received for proofing and feedback.

So far, we feel that this is the best one yet! It is so intriguing that we are continuing to read it out of business hours. We are excited about seeing this in print and looking forward to shouting about it when it's released, later this year.

We can't help feeling that being paid to read good books is one of our favourite jobs ever.

Previous books by the same author are: An Accidental Salesman, The Wrong Briefcase, My Time Again and Social Murderer.

All available from Amazon, all have a 4+ star rating:

Social Murderer - another new novel from our client!

We are pleased to announce that the 4th book from our client, Ian Cummins, has been published.

There are now three novels to choose from...

Social Murderer is a murder-mystery crime thriller about multiple killings of random victims with no connection - so how can DI Linda Evans bring the killer to justice? Or does he get away with it?

My Time Again is a time travel mystery - unexplained deaths and transportation to relive the past, choosing to take the same path or a different one. And what happens when the time travel date comes around again?

The Wrong Briefcase is a tale of ordinary lives and how they are affected by losing or finding a large amount of money. There's a nice twist at the end of the book.

Another New Book from our Client

Ian Cummins' debut book recounted his working life as an international IT salesman. Encouraged by the book's sales and kind comments from readers, he embarked on his first full-length novel, The Wrong Briefcase (2022) and, a year later, published his second novel, My Time Again (2023).

My Time Again by Ian Cummins

His latest book is a time-travel story of a man living his adult life twice. The second time around, his priorities were influenced by his experiences from his first life and so he made different choices. He became involved in changing major disasters and the scientific pursuit of how time travel might work.

My Time Again is a medium-paced mystery-drama with a little of everything: action and intrigue plus modern history from 1970 to the present day. The character has a typical British understated sense of humour.

The Wrong Briefcase by Ian Cummins

Ian's previous novel was a 'cosy crime' genre. One man loses a briefcase full of cash, another finds it and keeps it. The story follows both their lives in parallel, introducing well-described characters that could be someone you've met ... and, of course, there's a twist at the end.

Available from Amazon Books/Kindle.

New Novel from Author/Client

Author Ian Cummins is writing his third book. The first was a memoir of his working life as a globe-trotting salesman and the others are novels (the next one scheduled to be released around the turn of the year).

This year's publication is a gentle mystery, mainly set around London and the home counties, titled The Wrong Briefcase. The characters develop well as the story unfolds and there is an interesting and satisfying conclusion.

The story begins with one of our characters finding a briefcase full of cash then follows his journey as well as that of the family who lost it. There are many twists and turns as their lives change.

It's a well-researched, well-written novel and definitely worth reading.

50% of profits from all sales of Ian's books are donated to charity.

SEO & Social Media Clients

In addition to Website Design, The BPc offers a range of internet business services.

Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) is tailored to each clients' business needs. It may require on-page content optimisation, updating websites to meet current technology standards and compliancy with government guidelines or it could be using social media to reach a wider audience to link to their websites.

We may also assist with keeping their news blog up to date. Linking to useful information is a great way of attracting people from social media and other websites.

A number of our current projects are for clients who need (or just want) assistance with setting up social media accounts, customising in line with company style and/or regular news posted across various media. Depending on their suitability, this might involve Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Tumbler and/or YouTube.

Creating and editing video presents an issue to some clients but it can be extremely useful for engaging new visitors. Shorter videos are widely favoured on social media and longer ones are ideal for YouTube.

  • We set up a Facebook page for SunSeeker Doors and they now have over 3,000 followers.
  • Our YouTube video views for SunSeeker Doors exceed 70,000 views.
  • We set up a Facebook page for A White Rolls Royce and they now have over 3,500 followers.
  • We recently set up Social Media accounts for:

Book Authors - writing, publishing, promoting.

At The BPc, we've written many blogs and articles but starting to think about writing a book is far too daunting to contemplate.

However, we are delighted to assist new authors with their publicity, even though there is virtually no financial incentive for us. The same often goes for film-makers, musicians, theatre and comedy.

In January 2014, we worked with new author Colin Lord to proof-read and publish his first novel - a crime thriller titled When the Odds are Evens. Colin was part-way through the sequel A Diamond to Kill For when, tragically, he bacame seriously ill and died.

We assisted another author with setting up his social media, which he is now using fairly regularly. We also advised with his iphone 'selfie' video, which we edited and uploaded to YouTube. Take a look (and a listen!) below:
